Well what can I tell you about me?

My name is Simon Colgan, and I was born in the 60's.

I started to take pictures at very you age, My Grand parents and my father were keen amateur photographers. After many years of different jobs, I finally decided at 40 years old to try and make a 35 year love affair with cameras and photography a career. After 2 years of trying, only now is it beginning to be a career, I even went back to do a University based Hnc to further my knowledge. I love digital photography, simply because it gives you so much freedom., but my greatest love is for film. Still today I use a 1934 and a 1958 Rollieflex, and my cupboard under the stairs is my darkroom. I'm an honest man, I love animals. I re-cycle everything and I feel for our planet and the damage we are inflicting on her and do my best to lessen my Footprint.
